Knitting the Threads of Data Privacy: Live on Stage, Testing CAP_ABLE! 🪐
  • 🪡 Artist-in-residence | Cap_able x IAPP

On April 4th, Cap_able flew to Washington, DC, for the Global Privacy Summit, which is one of IAPP's most important events.

Before we dive in - if you couldn't join us live, click here to watch our founder Rachele Didero's onstage presentation! 💡

For those unfamiliar with IAPP, it is a significant global non-profit organization, community, and resource related to privacy. It was an incredible opportunity for us to showcase Cap_able, and test our technology live on stage to show our commitment to data privacy 🪐

  • 🪡 Joy Buolamwini's Recognition on Stage!

During the summit, Joy Buolamwini's shoutout to our brand, Cap_able, brought a big smile to our faces, and we felt honored to be recognized by such a great figure. As followers of Joy's work, such as her book "Unmasking AI," we were thrilled to hear her insights.

  • 🪡 Hope for a Democratic Approach to Technology Governance

The possibility of a democratic approach to governing technology, thanks to Anu Bradford and other professionals, was also super exciting and gave us hope for the future.

We are grateful for the chance to have participated in such an event and are thankful to J. Trevor Hughes and the IAPP Team for organizing it and inviting us ⭐️
